It varies, but half or most of the files I try to delete don't delete. Once I've "Deleted" them, they can not be accesed, but are still there (Not in the recycle Bin, but the folder they where originally in).

When I reboot, they are gone. I just figured out I don't have to do a complete reboot, but a "Log Out" and log back in will work also.

Why would files not delete until a reboot (Or log out/in)?

    Thank you, Chris.

F5 will refresh the screen or click on "Refresh" in the View screen dropdown.

I've never heard of refreshing the screen deleting files. How could it know what files to delete? Anyhow, refresh didn't delete the files.
    Thanks for the reply,
    Chris.

Refresh deletes nothing - thank goodness. Sometimes, after deleting, windows explorer leaves a ghost behind. Refresh causes the ghosts to go away.
