This drives me NUTS!! I don't know why but whenever I click on my Firefox browser and it opens it always opens with the Bookmark Toolbar, thats a good thing:) . Then if I click "open another tab" from View there is NO Bookmark Toolbar (like the link in I E) on my browser window. Now under "View" /Toolbars/Navigation Toolbar & Bookmarks toolbar always has a check mark next to it. Wondering, is there a way I can have that "Bookmark Toolbar" show when any Firefox browser opens  Its like if I have 6 Browser windows open only 1 or 2 of them have the "Bookmarks Toolbar Folder" showing across bottom of top ;-)....Kind of wordy aren't I :(
    Thanks for any help

I will try to tell you what I have. There is a Personal Toolbar beneath the Navigation Toolbar. I don't know what a Bookmark Toolbar is.
My personal toolbar is always there, regardless of the windows or tabs which may be open. In addition, I have, at least, three tabs open, and they are my home pages (Tools|Options|Main| I click on use current pages, before starting to navigate. The three tabs are those that use most often. After that, I have my Options|Tab set to open in another window, and the contents of that tab will be replaced. But, will return to normal when you reopen Firefox.
If you want to keep the bookmarks in the Personal Toolbar, you have to go to Bookmarks|Organize bookmarks|Highlight what you want, and Edit|Set as Personal Bookmark Folder.
In other words, I never lose the Personal Bookmark Folder, although not all Tabs may be available all the time.

Hi Westside and thanks for getting back to me. If you go to the top of the page and click on the word Bookmarks it opens up to all your bookmarks. Okay now first it says "Bookmark this page ", then it says "subscribe to this page" then Organize Bookmarks is there. The next which is first of the list says "Bookmarks Toolbar Folder ". Okay , that folder shows a group of Bookmarks that are in same place as Explorers LINKS... Well I don't know why but I can't get that to showw always as I think it should, like the LINKS does. Hope I'm easier to understand, sorry I'm not brightest bulb in room :D

Ok. There is Bookmark Toolbar line which has almost nothing in it. Until you brought it up, I had never noticed. Why? May be because I organize my bookmarks in a bunch of folders, which cumulatively are in the Personal Bookmark Folder. That was what I was referring to when I mentionined setting as Personal Bookmark folder. If you already have a Personal Bookmarks folder you can drag and drop that particular folder in the Personal Folders, but there is a limit to the number of such folders and files. I abbreviated the names, and, still I have 14 folders and 6 individual URLs. but there is widget which looks like this: >> on the far right for more.

So you are ok. Keep posting, but not too much, if you have any other problems.
By the way my wife is from the Boston area, and I went to school in Waltham.
