I've got an old version of Adobe Acrobat 4.0 that I need to print pdf files virtually and to use Distiller. However, for some reason it (NOT Adobe Reader 8) pops up when I click on a link that is supposed to launch Reader. The real pain is that it not only doesn't open the pdf, it locks my entire system up, and crashes FireFox. I've looked everywhere I can to make a permanent setting to use Reader as the default, but I can't find anywhere to do so.

    HELP!,
    GPL:(

In Windows Explorer, go to Tools > Folder Options > File Types > scroll down to PDF > Change > select Adobe Reader 8
