My computer is 4 years old and I finally have an internet connection. I've been updating daily to catch up. Recent updates include IE 7 and SP 2 for Windows XP Home Edition. Somewhere along the line, something has happened. Occasionally, but not always, when I close IE 7, I get the following error message on my desktop:

"Application Error: The instruction at 0x02706680 referenced memory at 0x02706680. The memory could not be read. "

The error is affecting some but all the graphics on my computer. Some icons display, others do not. Some colors are true, others are grayed-out of blurred. Most affected in IE 7 and my Pocketmail web graphics. All the buttons appear to be functioning normally.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry to have bothered you all but glad I found you on the web. I solved my own problem. For whatever inane reason, I changed my graphic settings in Windows Display. The problem has been corrected and you can close this thread.

Thanks in advance for help in the future.
