"Windows Installer" window constantly popping up

Hey all,

I have been having an issue with a window that keeps popping up. When I open Internet Explorer, use my Outlook Express e-mail, or open any Microsoft Office application, I get this window popping up. To be exact, The header says "Windows Installer" and the verbage in the box is "preparing to install ". This started happening when I uninstalled my Microsoft Office suite(2003), because I wanted to reload the Office disks from my school to see if it included Visio. I found that it did not. I then started to load another disk that had come with the Office CD, it had "MicrosoftOffice Outlook 2003 with Business Contact Manager" on it. Before I started through the wizard, I decided that I really didn't need it and opted out of it. Ever since then I have been getting the Windows Installer window.

I have tried system restore to no avail. I hope someone out there has seen this and has an idea how to fix it.

It worked!

Well,

That did the trick. I reloaded Office, and things are up and running smoothly.
