Clicking on Link in Outlok Express Mail will not open in IE 7

Hi,
A friend of mine is using IE7 and running Windows XP. When I send her a link in an email or for that matter anyone else also, when she clicks on it, nothing happens even though it is blue and underlined. Internet Explorer doesn't even open. She always has to copy it, open IE7, then paste the address.

We have gone into both Options in Outlook Express and IE7 and changed them to not block images, etc. but to no satisfaction.

Do you know of a setting that we are not aware of that does not allow her to click on a hypertext link and visit that webpage?

Thank you for your quick reply. I passed the information on to my friend and she did what you suggested and all seems to be working OK now.
