can only save pics as a bitmap

Hi all,

Recently, whenever I right click a picture on the web to save it, it defaults to the name untitled and only lets me save as a bitmap. Any ideas why or how to fix it? I'm using XP.

save the file as bitmap, then re open the file and save as jpeg then delete the bitmap
