DST option not displayed in Date/Time Properties View

    DST option to automatically adjust time setting is not displaying on Date and Time Properties / Time Zone Tab view.
    ....... SEE Attached JPG ........
    This problem is on Kids XP, my XP displays the option.
    Any suggestions to prompt this option?

    Perhaps you have set restrictions on their system to restrict access to some system files.

    If I have, it would have been an oops. The view is from Kids computer, my admin account. Where would I find the setting to allow DST auto-adjust option view?

    The only thing that comes to mind would be that their clock is set to either Arizona or Hawaii time and they have no DST in effect.

    We'll your phrase got me thinking AND my eyes better focused.
    Bring up my jpg and notice both have (GMT -6:00)
    BUT
    mine is set for Central Time (US & Canada)
    and
    Kids is set for Central America .....oops
    Change Kids to my setting, works/view correctly.
