AVG 7.5 not recognized by windows security

    I upgraded the AVG free edition to the 7.5, but now I have a red X down on the bottom right corner. When i open it the security center says that the virus protection is out of date? Can anyone solve this problem for me?

    You need to update the definitions.
    Right click AVG systray icon, select "check for updates ".
