Ok, here is the skinny. I have a home network with a router and a wireless access point.

I have the wireless access point for a laptop I use wirelessly (of course) and 2 desktop computers going through my D-Link router.

Using for my DSL connection. Anyway..things are basically good except for one thing I have been stumped on. I have seemed to run out of ideas and need some fresh thoughts. Please help:

I am trying to map a drive through explorer as well as through the command prompt from my laptop to my desktops I cannot. Keep getting the following error.

Logon failure: The user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer. Funny thing is I can remote into it with using the Windows Remote connection.. I can ping from any computer. I have checked local security and everything looks good!...It worked prior to my re-loading Windows XP Pro on the one I am trying to map too. The other computers... are Windows XP Pro as well. Thanks for your help...

    JJ:confused:

The computer you are trying to share the drive out will need to have an account on it with the same user name and password as the machine connecting to it. It doesn't have to logged on as that name but the account needs to be on that machine.
