Thanks for your suggestion on contacting my ISP. So far it has been impossible to get through to anyone who knows anything. But I'll keep trying.

My ISP suggests that I try to connect directly to their server, rather than through a router, and see if I can then access www.adobe.com.

I have tried that before, but cannot get the connection to work. If I hook the LAN cable that comes out of my DSL modem directly up to my computer, the computer cannot find the network connection.

Is there some trick to that that I am missing? I have tried turning the DSL modem off and then back on, and rebooting my computer. Do I need to change the network configuration?

Problem solved. After trying everything I could think of, I thought of one other thing -- how about upgrading the firmware in the router? Did that, and it worked.

I don't know if it was the newer firmware or just the rebooting of the router. Whatever it was, I can now access www.adobe.com on all the computers hooked up to the router.

Thanks for all the help. This one was a strange one.
