I have a Logitech Quickcam Zoom, I'm guessing it's a pretty old webcam, but it works great after all these years, but here's the problem. When I turned on my computer, all the sudden I'm receiving a tooltip by the right side of my taskbar, saying that "USB Device Not Recognized ", and I'm like "What?! "

So, I thought why not uninstall the program, and install the program again. So, I did that, and guess what again? Same problem. When I check it out in the Device Manager, it said that this "Unknown Device" is...
"No drivers are installed for this device.

If you are having problems with this device, click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter.
    "

Alright, I tried to update the drivers for the Logitech Quickcam Zoom, but it's not working, the wizard for it, said that there's no drivers for this device.

But the thing is... I don't know where the installation cd for my webcam is, and I download the program from the official website.

    So, please help me?

    Hello tranceorenji,

    Try a basic remedy,

Go into Device Manager: right click My Computer > Properties > Hardware tab > Device Manager.

    Expand Univeral Bus Controllers.

Locate the Root Hub the webcam is connected to and right click on it > uninstall it.

Then reboot. XP will re detect it and re load drivers.

    Regards - Charles
