I'm not sure if "History" is what I am really asking about. When you start typing in the URL "box ", it will start showing you existing matches. Is there a way one can selectively delete entries from that list?

    Thanks

    Yes it is.
If you want to keep some and not others, no way to do that with IE. Its either all or nothing as far as I know.

Nor do I know of a 3rd party app that'll do that. Perhaps someone else does.

If you want to keep going back to particular sites, make them Favorites.

I never depend on "matching" sites. The only times that I use that history is for navigating this site for instance, when I want to get back to a previous thread, and I do that by using the History option on IE's back arrow. So my only use of that history is temporary

    Regards - Charles

Get "Clear Form Fields in AutoComplete ", you should end up downloading 'autowhat.zip'. Not sure if this is what you want, as you mention history, when you seem to be describing AutoComplete.
