balloon type of message

I have Windows XP on my computer. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of the balloon type of things that spring up from my taskbar? Thank you.

 

Disable SP2 security alert = start/settings/control panel/security center/in the resources click - "change the way security center alerts me "/uncheck white small boxes and click ok

Make sure network/internet connection is not set to alert you in case of poor connection.

I have Windows XP on my computer. Can anyone tell me specifically how to avoid getting the balloon screens that sporadically pop up from the taskbar. Thank you.
