NS7.2 keeps crashing showing npswf32.dll or js3250.dll errors.
What can I do? I have tried replacing the npswf32.dll file with a new version -but doen't work. I use xp and ns7.2 has never crashed for years until 2 weeks ago. Now it crashes regularly showing one of the two errors.
    Help Please! ! !

The flash version v.9 is not compatible with NS7.2. Check other posts about this. Any version before 9 r028 should be fine. At this point, I don't know about the other one, which is a javascript file.

    Possible NPSWF32.dLL fix

My Netscape 7.2 crashed often with NPSWF32.DLL problem. I replaced the
NPSWF32.DLL with the one that comes with Netscape Browser 8 (v 8.0.22.0)
and have had no problems with 7.2 crashes so far. I tried the NPSWF32.DLL from Mozilla Firefox (v 9.0.28.0), same crashing problem.

my fix: (I am using ME op sys)
1.download Netscape Browser 8 and install
    2. rename c:\program files\netscape\plugins\NPSWF32.DLL to xxNPSWF32.DLL in my case the problem DLL file was (v 7.0.19.0)
    3. Copy the file from c:\program files\netscape browser\plugins\NPSWF32.DLL
    4. Paste the file to c:\program files\netscape\plugins
    5. Shut down and reboot

    Hope this helps

    tom

The point I was trying to make is that NS7.2 is not compatible with Flash9 r028.
It does not matter where you get it from. Use v.8, or give up on NS7.2.
