    I just reinstalled Eudora in an attempt at curing a problem. In this new installation (as well as the old one) all seems to be working as expected except I cannot paste copied material into a message.
    I can copy incoming material but when I try and paste the copied material it does not happen. In fact I copied some material from a WORD document and tried to paste it into a new message being prepared in Eudora. When I tried to paste it I got "An unhandled exception has occurred in Eudora...." error message and the Eudora program is stopped and I am returned to my desktop.

    I have need to transfer material to outgoing mail and would appreciate being able to do this again.

    OH yes, copy and paste work just fine elsewhere...as in WORD.

    Anybody know what is going on here?

    Troops;
    I did find out what caused the above problem. All you need to do is go to the Eudora web site and search using "paste" as the key word. Apparently when making a new installation they are making it comply with some WINDOWS95 process. One turns off this complying feature and the problem dissapears.
