    Hi, Dytrog. :)

Is it a desktop? If so, did you try connecting a different monitor?

Even if it's a laptop with a VGA port, try connecting an external monitor to it and see if that has a display.

I've added to your title to indicate what the problem is :)

You'll have to correct that. That button is for your momentary contact switch and it has to be working properly or you'll have a tough time getting this to boot. You can disconnect the power switch at the motherboard pinouts and use a s_crewdriver blade to startup and shutdown or you can wire your reset button to the same pins and use that but a stuck power button results in a stuck switch (probably nothing wrong with the switch itself) and that means you can't power all the way off (4 second hold) or back on.

    ;)

Don't have much to add but just in case I'm right and you're wrong (not much chance of that when it comes to hardware ;) ) I read that as the button on the floppy drive is stuck in, which, would be normal as long as there's no floppy in the drive.

I could be wrong but in order to avoid possible confusion here, it would be nice if Dytrog would clarify this for us.

re- button stuck. it's not the power button. it's a small button with // by it when pushed it is supposed to light up the drives. like a restart or boost? and the new - used floppy lights when disc is inserted.

My very first computer (1995, Win 3.1) came with a button on the front called boost. I found out it was put there to actually slow down the processor so that older programs would work. I could see there was a definite difference in speed with the button set in one condition and not the other. Take the wires off of the boost switch but I don't know if that will help.

Have you removed the battery and let the bios go back to default? I have had that work in the past. Some have a jumper to clear the CMOS, some don't.
