Outlook 2000 - sending messages immediately

    When I clic Send after composing a message it goes in the Outbox until I clic Send and Receive. How to send without this second step as in OE?

    Have you gone to tools......then optiuons....then under the mail set up tab...checked to see if you have it set to send immediately?

    Daizy,

    I have gone through all the tabs under Option and cannot find what you refer to. There is no Mail Setup tab. The closest are Mail Services and Mail Format, neither of which have a setting to send mail immediately.

    Go to Tools - Mail Options - Mail Delivery and check "Send messages immediately when connected ".

    Brett,

    In my Outlook 2000 there is no Mail Options or Delivery. Under Tools there is Options and Services. Neither seems to have the Delivery selection that you mention. I've gone through every option and setting I can think of to no avail.
