    Hi,

Is there any way to save certain cookies (from deletion) when you delete cookies in Internet Explorer 6?
I could not find anything about this in the Help file.

    Thanks

You can delete cookies manually. The files are located:

    C:\Documents and Settings\Your User Name\Cookies

    Hi Alboy & Steve,
    Thanks for the replies.

I am trying the Cookie Monster & it looks like what I was looking for.

I've been deleting the cookies manually but it gets to be a chore.

    Thanks again.

    Hi,

I have another question relating to this subject.

When I use Cookie Monster, it deletes the cookies in C:\My Documenets & Settings\My Name\Cookies but it leaves a lot of cookies in C:\My Documents & Settings\My Name\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files.

Is there a way to delete these cookies also, without deleting cookies that you want to save.

I know you can do this manually, but I was looking for a way to do it quickly.

    Thanks.

    Hi jslow,

Interner Options > advanced tab > scroll down to and check Empty Temorary Internet Files and Folders when Browser is closed.
EDIT: The above dowsn't clear the cookies - just went thru the exercise.

IE's general tab > in the Temp files section > delete, but gets rid of the ones in the cookie folder as well.

    Regards - Charles

    Hi Charles,

    Thanks for the reply.

I guess I'll have to keep searching.
