Below are a collection of spyware videos on youtube showing the effects of spyware, adware and viruses infecting a users computer. This is what would happen to your computer if you are not careful with what webpages you visit and what programs you download and install on your computer. :) These videos serve as a warning to those people who visit malicious webpages and don't watch what software they download and install on their machines. Happy Surfing. :D

When I saw those videos I was pretty amazed that malicious software can do that much damage to a users machine. It just shows how bad and evil malicious software can be. What do you guys think about these cool videos? ;)

Yeah it's pretty amazing what malware can do to an unprotected machine. They key of course being an 'unprotected machine'. If you're patched up proper with some basic, free defenses and are smart about where you surf, these type of infestations are highly unlikely.

Not to give people a sense of safety mind you, because there far too many users out there who don't have proper defenses and don't follow basic 'common sense' surfing habits. And don't have patched machines to boot.

I had a test box of mine crushed in 3 minutes

In ten years of consistent surfing online, I've only received two viruses, both due to my own stupidity. Both were quickly quarantined and crushed. Using common sense and reasonable protection (AV, malware progs, firewall, your brain!) will generally suffice to keep you safe. There's no need to surf in fear.
