I have a desktop computer running XP home Edition. Yesterday, I created a workgroup on this machine and used a linksys router to connect my laptop so I can move some files to it.

Now my problem is when I hit CTRL-ALT-DEL on this desktop machine, instead of the regular task manager, I get a similar window with no tabs displaying users who are connected to the machine. I cannot close this window unless I disconnect or logoff the user which logs me out of the computer. Could this be due to creating a workgroup? How do I get the regular task manager back?

Please let me know if I need to provide additional information.

    Thanks

    Tony

    Hi tony and welcome!

Just double click on the edge border or the bottom border of the Task Manager window and it will toggle back to full view.
