view history of deleted files

Hi, I recently deleted some files on my computer by accident, without seeing which ones they were. All I need to know is how I can view a log or history of the files I deleted today. Is there a way to see a history of the recycle bin (it was emptied)?
I don't need to recover them, and I don't need any undelete programs (they didn't work anyways). All I need to do is view the filenames to see what they were.

 

Sean, like you I have had little luck with recovering files but for just finding their names I rely on Rest2514.

It's freeware and standalone so you don't bloat your system unduly. Just run it with no entries in any windows and you'll get the complete list in chronological order. Retrieving them may or may not be possible but if the names are all you need, this should do the job.
