Microsoft Office 2003 Professional

I recently upgraded my Office 2002 to Office 2003 professional, since then I when I open contacts my contacts are not there. How can I get them back? Also I cannot make Outlook Express my default mail. On the google bar for mail when I open it Microsoft Outlook comes up even tho I make Outlook express my default. What should I do. I really need my contacts because I was using it as my address book.

backups, backups and backups! in the IE options is tab programms. there You can set OE as a default.
