Can't organize favorites

i've been trying everything i could find and asked microsoft "they sent me instructions" i printed them and tried them several times! i had the same problem on my last comp. i did not transfer any files or folders by direct connect or by cd. i started clean Except our addresses. have 3 accts 2 can organize favorites, 1 can't i tried making small profile change in that acct. i deleted the acct. all our favorites and email were transfered just by address. you still get email if you unplug your comp. connected or not. also did syncronize on same nuthin. any ideas?

 

What do you mean you can't organize them? Are you talking about the organize favorites thing in the favorites menu or are you talking about right clicking on them and using "sort by name "? In either case, what happens when you try? What version of IE are you using?

 

on ie i have no problem. on msn premium when i select organize it say's loading. i let it run for hr's. never loaded display to remove old favorites. on other 2 acc'ts when i select organize it displays the list as soon as i click organize.

 

Well, sorry but I'm not sure what MSN Premium is. Is it a web page portal or a browser? I probably can't help you much as I'm not at all familiar with what you're talking about. Hang tight though. Perhaps somebody else knows.

 

Maybe this needs to be moved to "Other Software "?

 

it can't be moved but i just found a diff. way of looking at mine. now i have to wait untill 5 pm ca. time for wife to get home. it's hers that can't organize. i'll let you know if it works maybe it will come up again. when i find a way i'll **** sure post it!!
