request for Admin password ...

    ... in Win2K sp4. How can I bypass it so that the bootup sequence can conclude without my intervention? The request is annoying; I operate behind a router and firewall, and don't use an admin password.

    admin password

    in my old 2000 gateway xp i hold down F-1 on restart. then enter security and disable password then when it wants a new one don't enter one. i'm not sure if i'm answering what you are asking or not.
