I'd REALLY appreciate any help determinin if this is a hardware issue or not. Due to the random nature and the fact they just started coming out of the blue, I have a feeling it might be. Here's my dumps...

    KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000008e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hard
coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted
/NODEBUG. This is not supposed to happen as developers should never have
hardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ...
If this happens, make sure a debugger gets connected, and the
system is booted /DEBUG. This will let us see why this breakpoint is
    happening.

Probably the culprit is ram. Run memtest to stress test the ram. If you hjave a huge Dr Watson log, it is the also the symptom of faulty ram and you can find the DrWatson log at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\DrWatson\drwtsn32.log

    Thanks!

Thanks for the input, I appreciate the reply. Unfortuneately, and I mean unfortuneately I don't think it's the memory. I've tested all the memory I have with memtest 86 and It's good. I've basically determined my motherboard was faulty :( The worst possible component to go bad. I had to RMA my board and am currently waiting for a new one.

For those that have EVGA 680i motherboard problems - Search the EVGA forums for posts on re-applying thermal compound to the North and South bridge chips. aparently they used really crappy thermal compound and they get REALLY hot with the stock putty - 65 degrees C! Using Arctic Silver 5 should drop it down to around 40C. All the instructions are in a sticky in the EVGA community forum. I beleve this is a solution to ALL 680i chipset motherboards.

    Cheers...

    Memtest is not 100% accurate

    Hi,

If memtest reports the ram is faulty, it is faulty. However some faulty ram can pass memtest. BTW do you have a huge DrWatson log (ie size is bigger than 5MB).
