What are you trying to do when you get this message? It sounds as though there's some sort of policy in place but in order to help, we'd need to know just what it is that's denying you access.

Well, to tell you the truth, I'm not sure just what's happening there. Are you being limited as to how long you can use the computer after Windows starts? If so, if you reboot can you use it again for a certain amount of time. Is the time limit always the same?

    Hi Visee,

We are not clearly understanding what message, warning or error you are getting.

We are not clearly understanding what you are doing when you get this error, warning or message.

We are not clearly understanding what this is stopping you from being able to do.

Perhaps a "step by step" descriptive example of one of the things you are doing and what happens when you do it, will help. Be as descriptive as you can, in this "step by step ".

Quote the error, message or warning, "word for word ".

I know you are doing the best you can to translate or paraphrase your problem . I hope you know we are doing our best to figure it out. We'd love to help but so far this has remained a puzzle. There are to many pieces missing, for us to put together....

Thank you. I try "word for word ", because I can't understand english...

First turn on computer, and windows xp ready . Use "Administrator" Login

now, run my program , word, excel, access internet, checking email....

then runing program and finish my job. Use "X" to cancel that windows, that "Limited" is Msgbox.

I can't closed my program, I try use "Ctrl+Alt+Delete" to call that "Task Manager" and found my program, and Click "End Task "

that "Limited" is same here. mean is can't kill

Only press "Reset" to reset my computer and normal.

I try use "notepad" to testing... problem is same, but first run "CMD" , try "control" show access decind.

    Hope you understand it. !

Ok, what I understand you saying is this.

    1. You log on as administrator or at least you're using an account with admin privileges.

    2. You open a program and use it.

    3. You try to close it and it won't close. You get an error that says something like "this account is now limited ".

Does this sound correct? If so, I'm not real sure what to do about it. I'll see what I can find. Perhaps somebody else will have some idea.

Also, you might try right clicking on the shortcut you use to open the program and select "run as" from the menu. Choose an account with administrator privileges and see if you are able to close it then. I'd be curious to know.

If you shut down the computer in the normal fashion, do you get the same limited error?

(1). CORRECT; You log on as administrator or at least you're using an account with admin privileges.
(2). CORRECT; You open a program and use it.
(3). CORRECT; You try to close it and it won't close. You get an error that says something like "this account is now limited ".

Sorry, what mean is " sound correct? " ? , because my computer no any soundcard, speaker.

but that something like "this account is now limited ".

All runing program and quickly click "X" to closed. is SUCCESS (Save) and closed.

but after few min. to closed it, "Limited" is here , is can not (save) and closed.?

and that "Start -> Shutdown -> Closed / Reset computer" , is good status. no limited program.

but in "Start -> Program -> Command Point Only (CMD) "
try add "at" ; "netstat" ; "net accounts" ; "control" command , all say "Access Decind "

I do not undetstand computer talking about. because I use "administrator" logon, why limited?

    Thank you.

When I asked does this sound correct I meant "is that right?" . :)

For your problem, I'm not sure. I guess the first thing to do is to check your account to see if it's been changed to a limited account. In the control panel, click user accounts. Then click on your account. In the next window click change my account type. If it's set to limited, you can try changing it to administrator but I don't think it will let you. If not, boot to safe mode and at the logon screen select the administrator account. Then see if you can change yours from there.

but normal, "Limited" is sometimes ! ?

Crazy....but can you tell me if use (non-administrator) account , must "Limited" Msgbox ?

    Thank you.

How many accounts do you have? Are just using the built in administrator account or are you using an account that you created with administrator rights? If the account you use all the time is one that you created, you should have two that you can logon to in safe mode. One would be yours and the other would be the hidden administrator account that all XP operating systems have.

If you don't have one that you created yourself, then you're using the built in administrator account and it won't be hidden. Is the account you're using the built in one or is it one you created yourself?

Have you scanned the system for spyware or viruses? It seems odd that it doesn't occur in safe mode unless you are logging on to a different account in safe mode than you are in normal mode.

So, if you only have the one account, read this thread and do the things it mentions and then post a Hijack This log in the Removing Spyware & Viruses forum. I think it's best to eliminate the possibility of malware before continuing here.
