System Failure

Need some help please. Last night I noticed that my computer would restart when I told it to shutdown, I'm running Windows 2000 Professional. I've had this problem once before but I can't remember how I fixed it lol, I went in to Control Panel/System then to the Advanced tab and clicked on the Start and Recovery button, I then unchecked the restart apon system failure option. I then tried to shutdown and this time instead of restarting it displayed a blue screen saying the following

*** STOP: 0x0000009F (0x00000100,0x81837E40,0x8185A028,0x818B3C70)
DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE

Anyone know anything? If anyone has an idea of what this is and how to get rid of then please post a reply, as long as I don't do any more damage i'm open to all suggestions.

I think this is going to be a bit of a pain to isolate. You're not running Easy CD creator are you? Ran across this as well.
