Somehow I lost all items (factory and my custom entries) in my SendTo menu. I know how to put them in place, but they don't show up. I have the entries I want in 'Docs and Sets\Admin\SendTo', ...All Users\SendTo, ...Default User\SendTo and Username\SendTo yet when I right click and go to Send To it just has a greyed out (Empty). Anybody know why this is or how to fix it?

The worthless MS Knowledgebase has nothing on the subject that I can find. I tried changing the way I log in, changing fast user switching, I put a password on my log in, etc. trying to force it to use on of those above-named paths, but nothing has yet worked.

I don't know how (or when) they went away - this computer has never ever been connected to the internet. The only software ever installed is MS Streets and Trips, as I use it solely for navigation. I do transfer new maps over via USB key from my main PC, which is Virus/Worm/Spy/crud free. (This is where the custom "SendTo" is handy, to pipe a new map directly from the USB key to the proper directory as quickly/easily as possible.)

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks!

Dunno if this workaround will help (but it's free!): http://www.gabrieleponti.com/index.html

Also, the author is very helpful if you're having problems.

Another thought - Is there anything in the C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\SendTo folder?

Yes, this has the same list as the others. Thanks for the reply - I'll look into the power toys for sendto.

Hi unicorne1. You're link wasn't working so I took the liberty of editing it. Hope you don't mind. Just thought it would make it easier for those wanting to see the page.:)
