Is anyone using AdSubtract pro with NS 7.0? the only way I can get it to work is if I manually set the proxie. If I do that a lot of pages wont work right. Also could someone using 7.0 check this link https://www.putnaminvestments.com/individual/index.html
It will not display in 7.0 but will in 4.78. Thanks
    erg

To answer your second question, I also could not get the page in your link to display in Mozilla 1.0 rc3 (similar to Netscape7) although it works in Netscape 4.79.

What, if any, Firewall are you using? That could be your problem. Look HERE

I am unable to access the Web. My browser seems broken.

If you have a personal firewall, please make certain it is configured to allow AdSubtract to have access to the Web. AdSubtract should be allowed to act as a proxy server on your local machine. We have found that web access is often blocked by firewalls and you may want to look at your firewall documentation before following the instructions for removing the AdSubtract proxy settings from your browser.

Also, check to see if your ISP or any other applications are using an HTTP proxy, this might conflict with AdSubtract. If you have found this to be true, enter this proxy into the Next Hop proxy field under the Proxy tab of the AdSubtract control panel.

    Configuring the Next Hop Proxy:
To configure AdSubtract to use a "next-hop" proxy:
Open the Proxy tab of the AdSubtract Control Panel by double-clicking on the yellow tray icon. Click the box next to "Use HTTP proxy server" and specify your proxy server host and port in the fields provided. Click OK to close.

If the information above does not restore your web access, right click on the yellow AdSubtract tray icon, select "Exit AdSubtract" and restart your browser. Then submit a request for
    personal assistance.

Thanks Ramona I am running Zone Alarm Pro and it is configured to allow Ad Subtract to act as a proxie server. I guess I'll just have to live with the ads because I am liking 7.0 more each day :)

    Hi erg,

You've probably already checked out this support site

You might also find something that will get rid of the popup ads HERE

You could consider replacing both AdSubtract and Zonealarm with the free version of Outpost which works perfectly well with Nutscrape (or so I am told).
