Spybot S&D Scans Very Slow!

Anyone had any slow scanning issues with this app before?

This is an entirely different issue, having to do with the latest update, Friday the 12th.

The solution is to download this zip file to your desktop and then extract the contents into the C:\Program Files\SpyBot S&D folder. This should cure the problem, it did for me and for many others.

Ah, haven't run into this yet - thanks.

Kind of slow on my Desktop - can't tell on the new laptop - dual core and seems normal.

Thanks for the help all.

I opened the zip file to the appropriate folder and SB seems to be scanning a little faster...Although not as fast as it one time did.
