Eudora 5.1

I was forwarded a message with an animation within the message...(not like an attachment)...but it is not working. There is only an rectangle box with a small red x in the upper left hand corner...Is there something I can do to correct this??? Thanks....

I paid for the S/W as suggested to get the unadvertize version.

May sound silly, but is there any chance the fault is on the sender's behalf and not with your email client? Do you have another account such as hotmail or yahoo that it can be sent to for testing purposes? Or do all animations not show?

Eudora does not allow for the embedding of GIF's unless Quicktime is installed.

Is Eudora set to use the MS Viewer? If not, try embedding a GIF after selecting this option. If it is already so set, try uninstalling and re-installing Quicktime.
