WIN98 Lost Pictures

    I can no longer see pictures on the internet except sometimes if I right click on the picture box and click on "show picture" I can see the picture or symbol, etc. I have IE version 6.0.2800.1106IC, Update Version SPI on a Pentium II. I do not have Show Pictures check box under Multimedia in Advanced tab under Internet Options. Help?

    Loaded Flash but did not change situation. I can see streaming video from web cams. But cannot see streaming stock prices on chart in Ameritrade.
