Simpleshare Error Code 53

    I could use some help with a Simpleshare 160 GB.network drive. Simpleshare set up disk keeps giving an error 53 when trying to mapp drives. Simpleshare help line believes it to be a firewall problem. I have disabbled macafee and windows firewalls. I have two Dell pent 4 @3.0 ghz,linksys router (wrt54g) on ethernet. windows XP/SP2. Simpleshare uses my Windows Explorer 6 to access the drive. Ant suggestion???

    Experiencing same issue

    Did you ever figure this out or get a response? I'm having the exact same problem connecting to my 160GB SimpleShare with a Dell laptop. Simpleshare support maintains it's a firewall issue.

    My HP laptop, and a Gateway desktop all had no problems connecting.

    Here's what you're dealing with. No personal experience. Expecting too much? Switch and external drive may be a better and less expensive way to go.

    I finally gave up and fired up an old Compaq laptop and the drive MAP'ed just fine.
