Missing "My Computer" Classic Mode

Hello All,

A friend of mine somehow managed to either delete or drag the "My Computer" Icon from his Classic Desktop?

Any help in restoring this would certainly appreciated.

try this

hi
right click on your desktop -> "Properties "
then click on the "Desktop Tab" in the "Display Properties" window
then click the "Customize Desktop" button
and click on the check box next to "My Computer "
that should probably work

Just a comment:

Whether or not the icon appears is not a "Classic" mode setting.

The repair discussed above is appropriate in either mode.
