I am working with Win98 on my old computer and would like to set Netscape as my primary ISP. I also do have IE on the same computer. How/where do I go to set to have the Netscape as the primary? I am asking this because I have saved .html files and usually if I click on the .html file the screen will come up in .html format without the use of connecting to the internet. For now, however, IE just gives me a blank page.

    msbooch,

I'm assuming that you meant you wanted to make Netscape your primary/default browser, , and not ISP.

Check this setting: Edit | Preferences | Navigator
Click on the "Set Default Browser" tab
    Next:
Click on: Start | Settings | Control Panel
    Double Click "Internet Options "
    Click the "Programs" tab
Scroll to the bottom of the window and delete the tick next to:
Internet Explorere should check to see if it is the default browser
    (if it is enabled)

If this doesn't work then find an .html file
Highlight the file, but don't open it
With the shift key down, and the html file highlighted:
Right click, and select "Open With "
    Select "Netscape" from the list

Let us know if this works...
