Windows 2003 Error

    I set up a Active Directory and added Users and Computers and haves one Domain Controller.

    But when ever i goto another Computer ... It gives me this error when i try to connect to the Domain Controller....

    A Domain Controller for the domain main.domains could not be contacted.


    Anyone know how to fix this problem?

    In my experience, the main cause of this type of problem is that the Active Directory server is not set as the primary DNS server on the client PCs.

    Therefore, is DNS working on the server? Have you configured DHCP to use the Active Directory/DNS servers as the primary DNS server?
