I rate myself a low B as an analyst, but I do know the steps I am taking to improve my self-rating:

. Read the analysis done by others of Dumps. I read a lot of them. Member "cpc2004" for example, participates in some hard core forums where they have entire subforums analysing user Dumps. You might ping him here, or just Google his username to find other Forums. He is just first-rate at this.

. Research as thoroughly as you can the specific error code thrown. The Aumha site (I think you know that one) and one by kadaitcha man: http://kadaitcha.cx/stop_err.html
are the two I most often use. But there are other sites.

. Consider signing up for free malware removal training. This, among other things, will force you to recognize at a glance a true OS file, and an alien invader. There are other benefits to your gaining knowledge. There are some excellent courses available. Without attempting a recommendation, you can join me as a new Freshman at Malware Removal University: http://forum.malwareremoval.com/viewtopic.php?t=233&sid=82c8bc1cc45571f5c5edd1dd519ae3b5
