I use OE6 and XP SP2. when I compose a new email both my email address and my name shows in the from line of the new message. I'd like just my name and not the email address to show. How do I do that?
Thanks and happy New Year to all.

Sorry, I just figured it out. Sorry to bother you. It only shows when I'm composing and the recipient doesn't see it.
    Thanks anyway.

In OE, click tools>accounts>mail. Double click on your account and on the general tab, where it says name, make sure only your name is there. If your email address is there too, delete it.

Don't remove the email address from the box where it says email address. You won't be able to send an email if you do. Your ISP's mail server will reject any mail you send without a valid email address.
