    Gateway 45 laptop v2002 IE7 SP2
After downloading ie7 I can't seem to seperate the windows. Have a 2nd 19" screen and could run different windows on each screen. Can't figure out how to do it with these tabs:confused: Can't find any 'open in new window' switches. The pages used to be on top of each other now they don't seem to be. What am I doing wrong, please?

    Not sure I understand.
Do you mean Open a New Window? (In other words meaning you are opening a new instance of IE.)
You cannot do it anymore from left panel Favorites for example. You can only open a New Tab.
You can still Open a New Window from History or from the Favorites option on the Menubar.
And there also still is File|New Window.
Or do you mean how to split the screen between two open IE windows?
That has not changed--still Tile Horizontally (or Vertically) from the Taskbar.

I mean like splitting the screen with 2 or three different web pages. I could open different pages and drag them all over the place and the others were underneath them. I can't even get 2 pages up to split-screen them. Well, I guess I'm just pushing the wrong buttons here. Thanks for the info.

Open the page that will be Window #2, hit Ctrl + N
Open the page that will be Window #3, hit Ctr + N

    . etc.

For a link on a page, right click and select 'Open in a new Window.'

For a link on a page or a stored Favorite in the favorites panel, Shift + mouse click to open in a new Window.
