Lately I have found that my PC is becoming very slow to open, I have disabled most items at Start Up and left only what is essential, have defrag., and ran Registry Mechanic and RegSupreme. I also find that Outlook Express is getting progressively slower to open, likewise Google. Shut Down is also slowing up, but not nearly as bad as Start Up. None of the aforementioned has made the slightest bit of difference.

Lets leave the registry cleaners in their respective boxes for now.

You cannot disable what you cannot see. Read the 'Sticky' note at the top of the Malware Removal Forum, and post there if you find something indicating malware: http://www.windowsbbs.com/forumdisplay.php?f=41

Hello Alex and welcome to the Board,

    Try:

Open TM > process tab and look at the list of running processes and look at the Mem usage and peak usage. Clicking on those two columns will put them into either high to low order or low to high order.

    Anything standout?

    Anything you don't recognize?

In the Performance tab - CPU usage, anything standout there?

    Heavy pagefile usage?

    Regards - Charles
