MS 67 Word

I am using Win98Se, IE 6.0
I open Word doc and try to enter text. I type, but no letters appear. What settings have changed, or what settings to I have to review. I havne't used Word for months; the last time I used Word, it worked fine.
Please help.

Maybe a far off shot (but it happened to me)......any chance you've got your font colour set to white? Second thing I'd try is using the repair feature?

Ummmmm.........sorry to sound dense......but what's MS 67 Word? Or were you meaning 97 Word?

Additionally make sure your blinking cursor is clicked in the doc and seen where you wish the type to appear so that "action" is in that "task window" and is recieving the Focus.

Yes, I meant Word 87
I changed the font color to Black and it works. (I had Blue on a White background and that prompted my posting my question. By changing to Black, I'm "in buisiness ". Again, I tried Blue, and again n.g., so I am now using Black text.
We can now close this thread.
