Need a lil help plz...... [freezes and sometimes lock up altogether]

    Well my ? is simple so here we go......My window(XP) has starting acting up windows freeze on each other and sometime jus lock up altogether....also my desk top iconz some time flicker or disapper and come back..can anyone help me fix this prob...Ty..TDA

    Have a look in Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Event viewer at the Application and System logs, and see if anything in there sheds any light on what might be causing the freeze-ups.

    Also, right-click the Taskbar and choose Task Manager, then look in the Performance tab and see if the CPU is maxed out when the freeze-ups occur.
