Hello everyone. I am new to the board.

I have been reading up on how to slipstream SP2. I am wondering if it is possible to slipstream drivers for my graphics cards, sound card, peripherals(sp?) etc. . If it is, how would I go about doing it?

    thanks,

    Windzor

    Yes you can.

The instructions and other help can be found here: http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/

This explains how to create a slipstream that contains new device drivers, entire application suites such as Office, and other good things. While the focus is on creating an unattended CD, the instructions are invaluable even for a simpler slipstream. Consider using their advice to create the ultimate slipstream possible.

    An alternative approach: http://driverpacks.net/DriverPacks/

Remember that you are only going to use a slipstream when doing a repair (In-place) or new installation. (Your drivers will not matter for an SFC /Scannow operation). An In-place upgrade will not change your existing installed drivers. It is only the case of a new installation that the slipstreamed drivers would matter.

For video adapters and wireless networking cards in particular, I would not make the effort. These drivers change frequently.
