Help with Google Redirect Hijack

    Hi!

    When I click a google search result I will get a redirect 2 times. After that it takes me to the correct page.

    I have done a Spybot and Ad Aware scan as stated in the FAQs.

    The problem persists so I have done gone to the next step using HijackThis and saved the log file.

    What should I do next?

    All help is appreciated.

    I actually was still having the redirect problem after removing those items from the HijackThis log. So I read through some related threads and saw that FixWareout had worked for some others with the same problem.

    I downloaded that and ran it per your instructions in the that thread and that seems to have solved the problem. I haven't had any redirects yets!
