    Which country? The BBS is worldwide :)

    If PS2 games, with which I am not familiar, are anything like DVD's (films, etc) they are regionalized. i.e. unless you have a region free DVD player a US region DVD will not play on a UK DVD player.

    I did`nt think PS2 were regional like DVD`s.
    Is there any program that I can use to get this PS2 game to work in this country (UK)

    Brian - I've absolutely no idea, it was just a thought :) - hold on for another PS2 enthusiast to respond - I have never gamed seriously or recently.

    US are NTSC, we are PAL - that may be the reason?

    I know that's the case for XBOX games, so I could see it being an issue with PS2 too...

    Many thanks for all your reply`s .......I just read on the inside cover that the disc is NTSC format...........so it`s not going to work on this PS2 .............my brother bought it at Wallmart in USA , so hopefully they may exchange it in this country (UK) for a PAL format.

    I think the PS2 may be both regionalized and the PAL/NTSC thing. My nephew has a Japanese version of PS2 and they do NTSC.

    I have been informed that the PS2 can be chipped to play NTSC games ......is this true , and if so who do the chipping ..........many say that it is illegal for the shops and PC stores to do the chipping???????
