    • Please click Start > Run...
    • Type [FONT= "Courier New"][SIZE= "3"]services.msc[/SIZE][/FONT] in the "Open:" field.
    • Click the OK button.
    • Check to see if the "Help and Support" service is running and the "Startup Type" is set to "Automatic ".

    I Googled "Help and Support disappeared " and came up with about 36 links.

    For example, perhaps the information in the following link will help.
