    I'll take a stab....

Go into your BIOS and disable the onboard sound card.

Read all instructions before starting. Install the Soundblaster. Follow the instructions carefully.

If you have problems, come back and let us know.

    Hiya Steve.
The instructions said i must uninstall the onboard sound 'Realtek AC'97 Audio' via the BIOS. Entering the BIOS and finding + uninstalling the onboard sound will pose no problem (i hope) lol. But finding and uninstalling the drivers that were used for the onboard sound will because i don't have a clue where to look for them. Hope you can help. Boomble

After doing the BIOS deal right click on My Comuter->Properties->Hardware->Device Manager->Go to the Sound Card and right click on the items and select Disable...

Shut pc down -> add new card
