Why does the address bar disappear?

    This has happened before and for the life of me don't know why (I also don't remember the fix). I have no address bar to type in other site's addresses. I tried pulling down what is there but it won't show an address bar. What gives? I've rebooted and still nada.

    Is the box checked in View > Toolbar > Address Bar ?

    Do you mean the address bar in Windows Explorer or Internet Explorer. If Windows Explorer, click view>toolbars>address bar. If you mean IE, which version are you using?
