deleted in error an e-mail folder. Found it in my message store with DBX extension and full of e-mails. Tried to import from mail store but it appears empty although with DBX extension, it shows 33,931 kb. What do I do to recover the folder?

rmeron - Welcome to the Board :)

It sounds as if the folder is now corrupt - is it a standard OE folder or one you created?

Your best bet is to use something like DBExtract to recover the emails.

Thanks for the advice, although all the DBX Extract program dowloads are free, once you try to extract, it tells you that the trial version does not do the complete extraction, you can view them but cannot recover the folder into outlook express and would have to purchase a license in order to use the software. Is there any free extract program?

Well, if DBXtract is showing you the emails I would have thought that it was worth $5 to get hold of them :)

Do you know of a program for $5.00? The ones I saw are in the vicinity of $35.00.

The url I posted - DBXtract indicates a cost of $5 - that is where I bought a copy some years ago.
